Klein ISD bond almost $650 Million!
May 8, 2008 by nhnb
Klein ISD has called for a bond election to be held on May 10th, 2008 totalling around $650 million dollars! Your taxes WILL be going up because of this. One of the most controversial aspects of the bond is the plan to re-build parts of Klein High, expected to total almost $150 million dollars!
Is this a good plan for the whole district, does it do anything to relieve the overcrowding at Klein Oak that is currently occurring right now, and does this plan show good stewardship of your money? What do you think? Let them hear from YOU!
Unbelievably, the “pro-bond as is group” has formed their own political action committee to try to make sure that the Klein High school re-build passes, as is. You can count on the Klein High parents and students showing up to vote in favor of this bond, will you?
