The “show”!

DeSean Hales has committed to play for the University of Texas at Austin, and Mark Hunter has recently accepted an offer to play for the University of New Mexico.  Terrance Robinson has signed with the Michigan Wolverines!
Also, Scott Arthur who was a stand-out football player at Klein Oak, is even more impressive as a baseball player and will play for Texas A&M next year!

O-A-K, O-A-K, O-A-K!

The Klein Oak Fine Arts Department presents “Singing in the Rain” in our new, improved Auditorium at 7:00 p.m. on February 1, 2, 7, 8, 9 and 11. Purchase your tickets at lunch for $10 or at the door for $12.

Editor’s Note: We just saw it and highly recommend you do, too! The show’s stand-outs were Carl Culley, Caitlin Reader, Heath Martin and Northampton’s own, Jordan Fewox! Fantastic job with all the singing, dancing and special effects - rain on stage! And, it’s all in the newly re-opened Klein Oak Auditorium!

UIL has finished their realignment process, and now Klein Oak will be re-classified as a 13-5A school, instead of their current 16-5A. Besides that, the other big news for us is that Spring Dekaney High School will be part of our district play line-up this year.

Also, there is talk that Klein Oak has been invited to participate in a “Texas vs. The Nation” football game to be played in August at Texas Stadium. Their opponent will be announced within the next few weeks. Several teams will be playing in this match-up, and it should be a good time to see some great Texas pre-season high school football games!
